Here I am again! I haven't been to my blog in way over a year! I'm going to give this blogging thing a try one more time! For my first post I thought I would post a card that I've made for a weekend challenge at http://littlescrapsofheavendt.blogspot.com/2011/03/dt-friday-challenge.html This card was super simple because I used Tricia's lil_peep pattern to cut out the bunny using SCAL.

I picked up the Grandbaby yesterday. She is staying with Grandpa & Grandma for a week or two, so I will not be crafting near as much as normal.

I made this card for a challenge they are having at www.cookinupcreations.com. The challenge is to make a card every day in November. Each day they post the rules for that day's card. This card is for day 17, the card had to have a heart on it somewhere.

Thanksgiving!

DD told us last night that we will have Doodlbug for Thanksgiving! I'm so excited to get to spend the holiday with her!
I'm meeting them 1/2 way on Thursday to pick her up and keep her until ???. Her Momma has a new job working 15 hour days 3 days a week, so she is going to spend a week or two with Grandpa & Grandma.
I'm so excited!! I miss that little girl so much!

Nothing Special

My poor blog, I have so ignored this poor little blog of mine. It seems days go by so fast!

DD & family will be here this weekend. I'm hoping to get some great fall pictures of McKayla. She is growing so fast! We haven't seen her for a little over a month, but from the sounds of it, she has really been changing in that month. Each time I get to talk to her over the phone, she is talking more & more. She is saying so many words, now! I do believe she has totally left the baby behind & a toddler is in her place. This picture was taken as we were leaving the zoo last month. This picture says it all to me, she's helping push the stroller, lol. I'm so sad to see the baby days gone, but I sure do look forward to fun with this little girl of ours! She's a special one, that's for sure!

He Did It!

Nathan graduated last Saturday night! We were sweatin'it. No, really we were, it had to be 110 degrees in that gym! It was miserable as usual.
I am feeling so old! I am the mother of three grown kids, adults!! Oh'my how the years have flown by, even though sometimes it felt like time was standing still. Those were always the hard times.
I guess we are starting another chapter in life. God only knows what's to come!
