Hi there, today I want to share fun Easter page.  I just love these pictures of my granddaugther.  She had so much fun hunting eggs that year.  It was all a new discovery for her.  Such a fun age!
All of my paper piecings are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  The easter basket is from the Easter Quackers Collection.  The little pink flowers are from the Groundhog Day Collection & the cute little snail is from the Boy Meets World.
For this page I've once again used the Echo Park Little Girl collection.

Monday Monday Challenge Day

It's Monday so that means it's a new challenge week at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  This week we are having a sketch challenge.  Here's the sketch we are using this week.

Here's the page I made using the sketch for my inspiration.
For this page I used the Bathtime Bears & also the doily pattern.  The paper is all from Echo Parks Little Girl Collection.  I've had this collection in my stash for awhile.  It's so cute and just filed away so I've been using it all up.  You'll be seeing a little bit more of this paper in my next few projects :).  I love getting pretty papers out of my files and in my books.  Such a better use of them :)
If you would like to join our challenge this week, you can find all of the information on our blog.  We'd love to have you join us in the fun.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Page Re-do

I decided to take Glitter Girls challenge to redo an old scrapbook page.  I picked this page out of my books to redo.  I don't normally redo pages because I think they are all just a progression of my scrapping.  This one was really sad, though & one of my favorite pictures of my daughter, not to mention I had used the original picture.  I made this page sometime in the late 90's.
When I took the page apart I found that the sticker is full of acid and had already done some damage to the picture.  I'm so glad I chose this page to redo. I plan on going through my books in the very near future to see if I have any more of these stickers destroying my pages.

Here is my new page.  For this page I used the Bathtime Bears pattern collection to make this page.  The papers I used are from Echo Park Little Girls.

A Spring Day in Nauvoo

Hi there, today I want to share a fun spring mini album.  I have had this acrylic album hanging by my desk for years!  I kept thinking that I just had to wait for the perfect pictures and the perfect paper to use it.  Well, I finally decided that was just silly and that I needed to use it!
Our challenge this week at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs is a spring challenge.  Check out our blog for all the details.  We love to have you join!
I just love this little book.  All of the pictures are from a day trip we took to Nauvoo.  It was a beautiful spring day.  My granddaughter was just about to turn two years old so she was just discovering all the spring flowers. She was prancing around have having so much fun.
For the front cover I used the My Paper Garden Vol. 2
For the next pages I used the Groundhog Day pattern to make the flowers.  This was her first time to really see spring flowers.

For these two pages I use the My Paper Garden Vol. 2 for the flowers.

For these pages I used the http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_271/Gnome-in-My-Garden-Collection.htm.  She was telling us that she heard birds :)

This is our favorite spot along the river.  We like to stop here and picnic.  There is a creek and waterfall.  For this page I used the http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_577/Butterfly-Silhouette.htm

For this page I also used the My Paper Garden Vol.2.  This is my very favorite picture of the day.  I love that her little shadow is in the camera.  She was having so much fun discovering that day.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.

Wading in Jack's Fork River

Another page from our trip to Eminence.  These pictures are of my granddaughter wading in the river.  She LOVES the river, can't say I blame her.   I think if I lived there I would be in that river every day of the summer!  It is spring fed so very cool and so clear you can see the fish swimming.  It's very beautiful!

Project Life....sort of...

So, in my scrapbook I have sort of started doing a Project Life type addition to it.  Really it isn't Project Life at all but very inspired by PL.  I've got the divided page protectors and use those.  What started it all for me was the addition of another grandson last March.  His parents send me phone pictures of him and well, I can't print them very large so I started thinking of using the divided pages to make the area much smaller.  That started it :)
Now, I add lots of little things to my albums.  Things that really only need a small space like a trip out to eat with the family or folding laundry with Grandma.  I add these things to my scrapbook with the divided pages.
Another thought I have on this is that with 4 grandchildren so far this will make it easier to divide up the books.  There are some things that I add to the divided pages but then I also make a 12x12 page of.  I am thinking that the grandchild that is the main subject of the 12x12 will eventually have that page but another one of our kids might want the small bit from the PL pages for their book so they may also have a memory from that event.
I don't know maybe I'm really just making up an excuse to use all of those 6x6 paper pads I've been collecting?  LOL
Here's one of my pages I've added to my book.  This one is actually just one day for the whole page.  This is from a trip to Eminence we took this summer.  The first part of the page is pictures from our curvy drive down and then pictures from our cabin.  I loved that we actually had a room key!  I hadn't seen one of those in years, sure brought back memories.

The curvy road sign & the banner were both made using patterns from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  You can find the details on our fanpage at Facebook.
I also used post cards and some cut outs from some of the brocures we collected.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  I will be posting more pages soon :)

Something Sweet Card

I thought I would try the Action Wobble Challenge again this week.  I love challenges and this one looked like fun.
  Here's the challenge...
Now for this week's challenge:
Gimme Some Sweets!
Include a sweet treat on, or in your project.  It can be a real treat (like candy in a little treat container), sweets cut (candy, cupcakes, cake, etc.), or image.  It also must have an Action Wobble on it of course :O)
Of'course, I had to use a pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  I just don't feel my projects are done until they have a paper piecing on them.  So for this one I used a pattern from the "It's on the Calendar-October" to make this cute little caramel apple...yummy!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Make sure you come by our fanpage at Facebook.  You will find us by searching Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  Hope to see you there.

Feeling Crabby?

Hi there! It's been way too long since I've been to my blog!  It's high time I post again so I'm starting with this little card.
I saw a challenge over at the Action Wobble Blog & thought it would be fun.
This challenge had to include patterned paper & fiber.
It also has to have an Action Wobble.
Here's what I came up with...

The best picture I could get of the Action Wobble.
It would be better if I could have got my hands to quit wobbling!  LOL
The crab pattern is made by Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye-Lime Twist.
The fiber is so old that I can't tell you anything about it.  I bet I've had it stashed for 10+ years!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Sizzlin

Just a fun page of our granddaughter.  I took this picture at the St. Louis Zoo.  We were waiting in line for the 3D ride, so she had on her funky glasses while we were waiting.

Hunter

This morning I'm sharing a page I made for the current Design Team Challenge at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  You can find all the details & how to join at our blog.
I was watching one of Shimelle Laine's videos at YouTube and she used an accordion folder like this on her page, so I scrap-lifted that from her.

I used paper from the We R Memory Keepers "Boy Oh Boy" line.  Love these papers!
Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you will join in our challenges!!!

Crazy Cowlick

Hello!  This page makes me giggle every time I look at it!  This is my darling granddaughter, McKayla.  She has the craziest hair I have ever seen!  If you let it do what it wants to, it almost forms a perfect heart around her face!
As soon as I saw this new pattern by Tricia at Little Scraps of Heaven, I knew I would have to make this page.
Thanks for stopping by :)

5 Hours Old

Here's a page I completed last night of Hunter.  I used a couple of patterns from Little Scraps of Heaven to make this page.  I used the pacifier pattern from the Be My Baby Accessories and the label is from the Lots of Labels collection.

It's Design Team Monday!

It's Monday, again!  To make it a little bit better how about joining in our design team challenge?  You  have until next Sunday to submit your project.
This week is a sketch challenge.  Here's the sketch
This is my layout for the challenge.  This page is about my favorite blue bear.  I still have him :)
For this page I used several patterns from Little Scraps.  The bear is from the "We are Family" pattern collection.  The label is from the Lots of Labels collection.  For the flower I used the scalloped circle from the Magical Memories collection and dictionary papers.
